A Night with the City Assessor - Tax Rate 101

Hello Folks,

I have received several inquiries in the last few weeks regarding the City’s recent re-assessment and how it affects taxes. I hear frustration due to several pieces of misinformation “floating around” the City. I believe I can help in 2 ways:

1)  A “Tax 101” presentation that I prepared for the City Council earlier this year

2)  A “Night with the City Assessor” on Wednesday September 18th 6pm at the Bessie Rowell Community Center (12 Rowell Drive).

Please note due to privacy and time, the assessor, Mark Stetson, will only be able to answer general questions and not property specific questions. The night should be very informative – I hope you can join us!
