Finance Director

The City of Franklin (pop. 8,600) is on the verge of transformative economic development and seeks a dynamic, creative, and experienced financial manager who is up for the challenge by joining the City’s cohesive management team. The Finance Director is a full-time, department head position responsible for supervising, directing, and managing all administrative and technical aspects of the City’s Finance Department.  Under the direction of the City Manager, the Finance Director oversees a $35+ million budget (including schools), directs the daily operations of the office and its personnel.  The Director processes, tracks, and reports all financial transactions with the primary goal of ensuring a high degree of accuracy and quality.  The Finance Director conducts long-term financial planning and administers the City’s internal control program. Conservation Commission

The City of Franklin is seeking resident volunteer citizens to fill vacancies on the Conservation Commission.  The purpose of the Conservation Commission is namely to study, promote and develop for better use the natural resources of the City of Franklin.  This is an appointed postion.  Anyone interested please complete a Prospective Appointee Profile application with your resume.  Please submit completed documents to City Manager's office, or by email.

Supervisor of the Checklist for Ward 2 & for Ward 3

The City of Franklin is seeking volunteer citizens to fill a vacancy as a Supervisor of the Checklist for Ward 2 and a Supervisor of the Checklist for Ward 3.  This position is an elected position and has many important responsibilities and deadlines; knowledge of election laws and procedures is a plus.  Attendance at all Elections is required and attendance at supervisor sessions that are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the Election season.  Applicants must be able to dedicate extra time after the Elections to finalize the Checklist.  Applicants also must be a registered voter and a Ward 2 resident or Ward 3 resident.  Anyone interested may submit a City Employment Application; or you may complete a Prospective Appointee Profile application with your resume.  Please submit completed documents by mail to City Hall, or by email.
