Citizens of Franklin,
By now, we are all aware of the tragic events of this weekend in our city. Social media and news outlets have covered the details, but what is so much harder to understand is the 'why' behind the actions. A young mother and her daughter were brutally taken away from us, and another young child injured. The immeasurable pain that family and friends are now going through will not easily go away.
We, as fellow citizens, can show our support as a community by attending the Candlelight Vigil being held tonight at the Bessie Rowell Baseball Field at 8:00pm.
Please come and offer support to all who are hurting from this tragic event.
