Festival of Trees seeks Volunteer Coordinators

The Franklin Opera House is poised to begin its 5th year of offering the opportunity for businesses, organizations, families and individuals to express their creativity by donating a Christmas/seasonal item to the Festival of Trees.  These items are on display for an entire weekend with the opportunity for folks to visit the display and participate in a raffle to take home something special for the holidays.

The Festival has been under the co-chairmanship of Judith Ackerson and Maureen Aube since its inception in 2013 and they would now like to “pass the torch” of a well-organized event on to new management.  A “how to” manual has been put together and this increasingly popular event now, in many ways, “has its own legs”.  Working closely with the staff and Board of Directors of the Franklin Opera House, the event coordinators will have an easy, seamless transition for this endeavor, with the opportunity to put their own personal stamp on it. Judith and Maureen are more than happy to act as consultants and volunteer some time as well.
