Eversource A111 Transmission Line Project Update

Location: A111 Power Line Corridor (Franklin to New Hampton)

Eversource logo
As part of our everyday effort to deliver reliable energy, we are preparing to replace transmission structures and install fiber optic cable, known as Optical Ground Wire (OPGW}, in Franklin, Hill, and New Hampton. This project, called the Franklin to New Hampton Line Rebuild Project (Alll Line) is designed to improve the reliability of the electric system serving New Hampshire communities.
Keeping You Informed
Since portions of the work will take place on or near your property, we wanted to keep you informed of upcoming activities. Starting soon, our construction team will be working within the power line corridor to
replace existing wooden transmission structures. The new structures will be the same type of structure but made of weathering steel, which is more resilient against rot, insect and woodpecker damage, and can better withstand severe weather. The installation of OPGW will improve communication between our substations, which provides quicker response times for system issues, reducing duration of power outages, and improving
reliability across the system. Please see the enclosed Project Fact Sheet for more details on the upcoming work.
We Want to Hear from You
With construction scheduled to start soon, we want to make sure you have the opportunity to learn more about the project and what it means for your property. Our team is prepared to answer any questions you might have and is ready to connect with you in the following ways:
•    In person or virtual meeting: Contact Sarah Hoodlet at Sarah.Hoodlet@eversource.com to schedule a project briefing.
•    Door-to-door outreach: Before and during construction, dedicated field support will be on-site on a regular basis to answer questions. They may leave a door hanger at your home with more information.
