City of Franklin Launches Energy Efficiency Campaign for Businesses

Team from Eversource and Liberty Utilities to be in the community next week

FRANKLIN, N.H. (May 30, 2019) – As part of its ongoing revitalization efforts, the City of Franklin is launching a campaign with Eversource and Liberty Utilities to provide businesses in the community with a no-cost energy analysis, energy-efficient equipment upgrades and facility improvements.

From June 3 through June 7, energy experts will be in the community meeting with businesses to provide more information and schedule the free analysis. Once completed, businesses may be eligible for significant incentives toward the installation of energy-efficient upgrades such as interior and exterior LED lighting, refrigeration controls, programmable thermostats, water saving devices, and insulation, along with interest-free financing.

“Energy efficiency positively impacts the bottom line for businesses of all sizes and provides them with a competitive advantage,” said Franklin Mayor Tony Giunta. “The campaign is another initiative that demonstrates we are open for business, and we look forward to leveraging expertise from Eversource and Liberty Utilities to save Franklin businesses money and energy.”

Eversource and Liberty Utilities have partnered with RISE Engineering to arrange for licensed technicians to complete approved projects and ensure minimal disruption to daily business operations. The new, high efficiency products will be backed with warranties on both materials and labor.

Letters have been mailed to businesses throughout the City of Franklin. For more information and to schedule a free assessment at a convenient time, contact RISE Engineering directly at 603-595-2304.
