Attention Franklin Dog Owners!

Dogs are to be licensed annually by April 30th per NH RSA 446:1 Procuring License; Tag. We are asking dog owners that have not licensed their dog(s) this year to do so by June 19th to avoid the Civil Forfeiture per NH RSA 466:13 Forfeiture.
During the City Council meeting on June 5th, the Council authorized for the Civil Forfeitures to be issued to follow NH RSA 466:13. We would like to avoid as many additional forfeitures as possible.
Per NH RSA 466:7 Additional Charge Where Payment of License Fee is Delayed, an additional dollar late fee per month will be assessed beginning June 1st as well as the standard license fee.
