Goals

In 2010, the Drug Task Force was awarded their first 5-year federal Drug Free Communities (DFC) Grant.

In 2015, we were awarded a second 5-year federal Drug Free Communities (DFC) Grant continuation. 

In 2020, we were awarded the Partnership for Success- Strategic Prevention Framework Grant which funds out coalition until August 2025 in the following goals: 

 

GOAL 1:  Measure, target, select evidence-based interventions to address adult substance abuse.

GOAL 2:  Select evidence-based prevention strategies to address youth and young adult marijuana use and policies.

GOAL 3: Select evidence-based prevention strategies to address youth, young adult, and high-need adult methamphetamine use.

GOAL 4: Engage youth in direct prevention of alcohol, marijuana, and methamphetamine use.

GOAL 5: Select evidence-based and sustainable youth, young adult, and adult alcohol prevention strategies.

 

A multi-sector approach has allowed us to meet goals by bringing together invested stakeholders.
