Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility

The Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility is a storage facility where residents and taxpayers can safely and conveniently dispose of unwanted materials that pose a threat to the human and natural environment.

Learn more in the Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility Flyer.

The Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility is open May through October, every third Saturday, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

To bring hazardous materials to this Facility, you will be charged a fee of 0-5 gallons for $40.00, or 6-10 gallons for $80.00.  Each household is limited to 10 gallons.  Checks can be made out to LRHHPF (Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility).

The ways to reduce the impact on the environment:  Avoid products that contain hazardous ingredients, whenever possible; buy only as much as you will use right away and give leftovers to friends or neighbors; tell your retailer that you want to buy recycled products; store leftovers in their original containers with the labels intact, away from children and pets.
