What is a Coalition?

Why are we a Coalition?

The way coalitions are organized, provides necessary tools for implementing a comprehensive strategic plan.

Well-functioning coalitions engage residents, law enforcement, schools, nonprofit organizations, the faith community, youth and other key groups to work together to address community concerns.

Community mobilization (bringing all resources together to achieve sustainable development) is central to creating population-level change.

Coalitions are well-positioned to ensure sustained action on complex problems, including advocacy and policy change.
