A Message From Mayor Brown

Franklin Citizens.  

Last night graffiti was found in Mill City Park that included anti-Semitic and anti-Black statements among other comments. The Franklin Police responded quickly, gathered evidence, and immediately filed a report with the Attorney General's office. 

Initial investigation indicates locals may have been involved but the investigation is ongoing.  At this time,  organized state and national hate groups do not appear to be involved. 

The graffiti was quickly redacted by the city.
