Administration Division

The Fire Chief is responsible for the overall management of the Fire Department with immediate supervision of the Administration, Fire Alarm, and Inspection Divisions.  Duties include planning, budgeting, purchasing and response to emergency calls as needed.  The Fire Chief also serves as the City’s Emergency Management Director and reports to the City Manager.

The Deputy Fire Chief is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department with immediate supervision of the Fire Suppression Division and the Rescue & EMS Division, which currently includes 12 career and 16 call members.  Duties include training of personnel, care & maintenance of apparatus/equipment, quality assurance and inspection, and responds to fire and EMS calls as needed.

The Secretary is responsible for the office operations of the entire department.
