The City of Franklin is generating a list of local businesses email addresses for a survey about training needs of our local businesses to see if there is a way we could help offer some local trainings through a partnership with granite state college and to help the City move forward with other planning and economic development initiatives.  If you are a business owner, that would like to submit your email address, please send it to acarey@franklinnh.org.  Please include in the email, your name, business name, address, and phone number.

Employment Opportunities

Firefighter/EMT-P

 

The City of Franklin is now accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.

Successful candidates must possess;

 

·         High School diploma

·         State of New Hampshire Commercial Driver’s License with no intrastate driving restrictions. (Must be 21 years of age)

·         New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training Firefighter II

·         Nationally Registered Paramedic

 

Successful candidates must have completion of CPAT prior to date of hire. Lateral transfer of full-time career personnel pursuant to State of New Hampshire Administrative Rule 703.01 will also be accepted. The salary range for the position is $37,300 - $49,000 depending on qualifications. The City of Franklin offers a generous benefit package that includes full family medical and dental coverage. Residency within an established response area is required.
