http://www.dalejtravis.com/bridge/newhamps/htm/29007f.htm The Covered Bridge is now called the "Mini Pemi" and was named by the Franklin School Students. Please view the images below, which are the setting of the Covered Bridge, at Legace Beach, built by Brian Barry. The materials for the bridge were provided by the Lakes Region Snowmobile Club, through a grant and other donations. The bridge was placed at Legace Beach on Friday, October 30, 2009, in place of the existing footbridge that was the pathway to the boat trailer parking lot, from the inlet to the lake, and is part of the snowmobile trail. The Bridge was constructed in such a way, after hours of research by Brian Barry, that it could be considered an Authentic covered bridge.
The bridge was
transported from the area of Brian's shop, located at the Proulx Community
Center (Recreation Center) to its final resting place with help from Hurd
Construction and Beck and Belucci.
