City of Franklin Recreation
Facilities
Proulx Community Center:
Recreation Department office, basketball court, pool tables,
ping pong, foosball, air hockey and meeting rooms.
Beaches:
The City of Franklin operates two beaches on Webster Lake.
Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week starting June 19
through August 21. Lifeguard hours are 10:00am until
6:00pm. An adult must accompany children under the age of
fourteen. Floatation devises are not permitted with the
exception of property sized and fitted Coast Guard Approved life
jackets. Parking permits are required weekends and
holidays. Residents may obtain permits at Franklin
City Hall. Non-residents may purchase permits ($5.00 per
car) from on duty lifeguards of the Parks and Recreation
Department.
Lagace
Beach:
Located on Webster Lake Road. Beach, Boat Access, and
Restrooms.
Griffin
Beach:
Located on Griffin Road and Webster Avenue. Beach,
play area, picnic area and restrooms.
Parks:
Odell Park:
Located on Memorial Street. 1 softball field, 2 little
league baseball fields, 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court,
playground, picnic area and restrooms.
Daniell Park:
Located on Glory Avenue. Softball field, playground,
picnic area and restrooms.
Stone Park:
Located on Stone Avenue. Playground and picnic area.
Forest
Hills:
Located on Forest Avenue. Tennis and Basketball court.
River's
Edge Park:
Located on East Bow Street. Skateboard and inline
skate park.

Franklin
Outing Club Ski Instruction Program
The Franklin Outing Club will
offer a Ski Instruction Program at Veteran’s Memorial Ski Area
in West Franklin. Ski Lessons will be available 10:00am –
11:00am, Saturday mornings January 5, 12, 19, and 26 conditions
permitting.
Ice-skating will be available
at the Veteran’s Memorial Ski Area. Contact the Franklin Parks
and Recreation Department for availability and conditions.
