Where is the Franklin Recreation Department located?
     The Recreation Department is located at the Proulx Community Center, 124 Memorial Street, Franklin, NH 03235

What are your hours of operation?
     The office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. There are additional open    gym and game room hours in theevening and on the weekends.  Please contact the Recreation Department for open gym and game room hours or visit Open Gym / Game Room Hours

What does the Recreation Department do?
     The Recreation Department is responsible for scheduling youth and adult programs for the citizens of Franklin. We develop, provide and maintain recreational program facilities and leisure resources for the citizens and visitors of the community.

How do I register for a program?

     You can register by mail by filing out the Registration Form and mailing it with payment or visiting the Proulx Center.

Can I register for your programs by phone?
     Unfortunately, no. The registration from needs to be signed and payment needs to be submitted.  You can register by mail by filing out the Registration Form and mailing it with payment. 

Can I pay for a program by Credit Card?
     Unfortunately, not at this time.

How can I book a group to use the parks, fields or Proulx Center? Is there a fee for the use of the park, fields or Proulx Center?
     Call the Recreation Department at 934-2118 and we will check the availability of the date.  You must fill out a Facility Use form and submit it to the Recreation Department with the appropriate fee.  Please contact the Recreation department for the appropriate fee.

How do I know if a program is cancelled due to weather conditions?
     You can call the Recreation Department at 934-2118 or listen to Mix 94.1FM.

Are scholarships available?

     The Franklin Parks and Recreation Department strives to offer affordable programs.  We do have a limited amount of scholarships.  Please fill out the Scholarship Request Form and submit it to the Director.  Payment arrangements are always available for any program.  Please contact the Parks and Recreation Director for more information on scholarships or if you are interested in setting up a payment  arrangement.   

Refunds
     Refunds are made only if the Recreation Department is notified prior to the start date of the scheduled program, class or trip. Refunds are not given once a program has begun. Should a trip be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather or any other circumstance, you will be refunded the full amount if you cannot attend the rescheduled date.
