Recreation Event Supervisor

The Franklin Parks and Recreation Department seeks a qualified individual for the position of Recreation Event Supervisor.  The Recreation Event Supervisor helps plan, organize, implement, supervise, and evaluate both year-round and summer programs for all ages and abilities; be a team player with the ability to juggle assignments and multi-task; and coordinates with various community organizations. Additional responsibilities include park improvements/maintenance.

This is a part-time, year round position averaging 20 hours of work per week (40 hours per week during the summer) including occasional holiday, evening and weekend hours.  Bachelor’s degree preferred with a major in recreation or closely related field and one to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary range $11.81 to $15.50 per hour.  Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
